About Me
Growing up, I struggled a lot with my weight, my identity, and feeling like I truly belonged somewhere. But no matter what I was going through, there was always one thing that seemed to bring me back to myself: training.
At the time, I didn't realize it would eventually become my career. I actually had a very different path in mind. I enrolled in school with the goal of becoming an EMT and eventually a firefighter. Academically, I was doing well. I loved learning anatomy, passed my tests, and thought I was moving toward the life I was supposed to have. But once I started doing ride-alongs, something didn't feel right. I remember struggling through them and eventually asking myself a question that stayed with me: How can I save someone else if I don't know how to save myself?
Eventually, one of my instructors recognized what I was going through. He told me something that changed the direction of my life: instead of forcing myself down a path that wasn't meant for me, I should pursue the thing that brought me back when I felt lost. For me, that was training. So I listened.
I enrolled in a personal training program, and almost immediately, something felt different. Learning about the body, muscles, movement, and training came naturally to me. More importantly, I couldn't stop wanting to learn more. For the first time, I felt like I had found where I belonged. That decision eventually led me to becoming a trainer at Equinox in Hollywood, continuing my education in physical therapy, and ultimately building my own private training business.
But my reason for coaching has always gone deeper than workouts. I know what it feels like to question yourself. To feel like you don't quite belong. To search for the thing that makes you feel capable again. Training became that for me. And now I want to help other people discover that same strength within themselves.
Because sometimes becoming physically stronger is only the beginning. The real transformation is becoming someone who believes in what they're capable of.
